Con una industria en desarrollo que apuesta por su diseño y creativos que han comenzado a dejar marca a nivel internacional es innegable que Colombia se esta convirtiendo en el nuevo trampolín para diseñadores de moda. Nombres como Johanna Ortíz, Leal Daccarett y Aquazzura ya forman parte del léxico de editores, bloggers y fashionistas quienes desean esas piezas que se han convertido en sinonimo de un estilo latino contemporaneo, lleno del espíritu alegre que nos caracteriza pero fuera de los tradicionalismos locales en los que muchas veces suelen caer los diseñadores latinoamericanos.
Estas propuestas son cosmopolitas, actuales y poseen, en la mayoría de los casos, el balance perfecto entre ilusión y practicidad. Como en toda semana de la moda habrá favoritos y esos son los que he incluido en esta entrada, muchos ya se han hecho un nombre dentro y fuera de su país mientras que otros traen consigo la sangre nueva deseosa de surgir y cuya propuesta sin duda esta diseñada para conquistar.

This proposals are cosmopolitan, current and in most cases strike the perfect balance between illusion and practicality. As in every fashion week there are favorites and those are the ones that make up my selection, some of them have already made a name for themselves in and out of their country while others usher some fresh blood bound to rise with creations that are fully designed to conquer.

Las piezas inspiradas en la cultura indigena colombiana con detalles realizados por los Emberá fueron la estrella de esta propuesta cuyos accesorios fueron un espectacular trabajo en conjunto con varios creadores.
The colombian indigenous inspired pieces with details handcrafted by the Emberá tribe were the stars of this outing which also boasted some spectacular accesories that were a joint work with various creators.

La colección titulada "Te amo Tanto" fue una amalgama de diferentes culturas ancestrales promoviendo un mensaje de unidad y de dar amor en medio de una explosión de colores y estampados.
The collection titled "Te amo Tanto" (I love you so much) was a convergence of different ancestral cultures promoting a message of unity and giving love in the middle of a color and print carnival.
