My Obsessions Pt.7 - Michael Bastian F/W 2014.

This collection could actually be in my wardrobe ¡I Love It!

Hola a todos! Para mi obsesión del miércoles decidí mostrar en el blog una reciente colección presentada en el NYFW siendo la última de menswear antes de que entremos de lleno con el womenswear (del cual pueden mantenerse actualizados con mis looks favoritos, colecciones, entre otras cosas en mi fanpage de FACEBOOK). La colección en cuestión es la del diseñador Michael Bastian quien obtuvo su inspiración de un viaje realizado a Japón, quizás algunos se confundan pues la propuesta en si no parece muy "japonesa" pero tengo la impresión que su inspiración esta más arraigada en la escena de la cultura moderna juvenil quienes manejan un estilo utilizando piezas sastre combinadas con piezas más funcionales (esta sería la más obvia pues en Japón existen varias sub-culturas, cada una con sus reglas de vestir). El diseñador Michael Bastian también mencionó que deseaba introducir sportswear de lujo y creo que ha dado en el clavo. Debo decir que estoy totalmente enamorado del bomber bordado y el jersey con la figura de Godzilla. ¿Cuales son sus piezas favoritas?

Hello everyone! For this wednesday obsession I decided to show you one of the recent collections presented at NYFW being my last from menswear before we totally get absorbed by womenswearn (which you can also keep track of my favorite looks, collections and all other things through my FACEBOOK fanpage). The collection I´m talking about is from designer Michael Bastian whose inspiration came from a trip to Japan, maybe some will be a little bit confused seeing that the line is not very "japanese" but I think his muse came from the youthful and modern fashion culture which is more proned to wearing a combination of sartorial pieces with functional ones (gotta say this is perhaps the easiest one to spot because there are a ton of sub-cultures in Japan, each one with their own dresscodes). The designer also mentioned in an interview that he wanted to introduce luxury sportswear  and I think he hit the jackpot. I also got to admit to be totally in love with the bomber jacket and the Godzilla sweatshirt. ¿Which are your favourite pieces?
