Latinamericans To Watch // Mexico.

¡Hola a tod@s! Hoy estoy de regreso en el blog para inaugurar oficialmente esta nueva sección que lleva por titulo 'Latinamericans To Watch' una entrada destinada a resaltar el talento de un grupo de diseñadores especifico, no tan conocidos a nivel internacional, cuyo trabajo a mi parecer los sitúa en el camino de convertirse en los nuevos grandes diseñadores de América Latina. Son en esencia personas en las que veo un gran potencial.

Este segmento estará dividido por países y si estaré resaltando los talentos de cada país que forman parte de latinoamérica lo cual estoy seguro será un viaje muy interesante, informativo y divertido en el que daré con marcas que seguro me sorprenderán.

Como el titulo indica estamos iniciando con México un país que me encanta y que tuve la oportunidad de visitar hace ya algunos años y me enamoré de su atmósfera, de su gente, de la colorida cultura y de su comida ¡Su comida! Ahora mismo es uno de los países latinos que está experimentando un surgimiento y notoriedad muy importantes a nivel de moda con exponentes reconocidos como Kris Goyri, Benito Santos, Julia y Renata, Francisco Cancino, Vero Díaz, Sandra Weil y Lorena Saravia (quien participó en la primera edición de Next in Fashion).

Aún con tan excelente representación hay diseñadores menos conocidos que poco a poco han comenzado a hacerse notar por su talento, confección, visión e increíble potencial para convertirse en el próximo gran peldaño del diseño mexicano y latinoaméricano. Aclaro que son muchos pero en particular los siguientes tres son quienes han captado mi total atención y no puedo esperar a ver como se desarrollan sus carreras.

Hello everyone! Today I am back in the blog to officially inaugurate this new section that bears the title 'Latinamericans To Watch' an entry aimed at highlighting the talent of a specific group of designers, not so well known internationally, whose work I think places them in the way of becoming the new great designers of Latin America. They are essentially people in whom I see great potential.

This segment will be divided by countries and yes I will be highlighting the talents of each country that are part of Latin America which I am sure will be a very interesting, informative and fun trip in which I will find brands that will surely surprise me.

As the title indicates we are starting with Mexico a country that I love and that I had the opportunity to visit a few years ago and I fell in love with its atmosphere, its people, the colorful culture and its food. Its food! Right now it is one of the Latin countries that is experiencing a very important emergence and notoriety at a fashion level with recognized exponents such as Kris Goyri, Benito Santos, Julia and Renata, Francisco Cancino, Vero Díaz, Sandra Weil and Lorena Saravia (who participated in the first edition of Next in Fashion).

Even with such excellent representation there are less well-known designers who have gradually begun to make themselves known for their talent, clothing, vision and incredible potential to become the next big step of Mexican and Latin American design. I clarify that there are many but in particular the next three are those who have captured my full attention and I can't wait to see how their careers develop.

Un talento mexicano que realizó recientemente una estelar participación en la edición primavera/verano 2020 del México Fashion Week. Originario de Guadalajara, Jalisco este diseñador planta su bandera en la escena del diseño mexicano con una colección que es una muestra de buen gusto, savoir-faire y una estética demi-futurista que rápidamente lo sitúa entre los talentos más prometedores del país.

Su estilo de diseño detalla a una mujer femenina que gusta de prendas elegantes con toques modernos y siluetas definidas pero nunca aburridas. Sus lineas y selección de tejidos detallan el conocimiento de un creador que ha estado trabajando, puliendo y evolucionando su arte por más de dieciocho años; la experiencia se palpa en la construcción impecable de sus prendas.

Las siguientes semanas de la moda mexicana serán de gran importancia para el desarrollo y avance de su carrera pero no hay duda que este diseñador tiene todo el potencial para crear y dejar una marca prominente como uno de los más influyentes diseñadores mexicanos.

A Mexican talent who recently made a stellar participation in the spring / summer 2020 edition of Mexico Fashion Week. Iniciando su camino en el mundo de la moda desde el 2004 la diseñadora Alejandra de Coss ha visto variados cambios en su modelo de negocio llegando a su marca actual la cual se sustenta en inspiraciones artísticas y el séptimo arte, teniendo la de-construcción de la sastrería como uno de los pilares de su trabajo.
