"Creative Addiction" - Anne Sofie Madsen

Hola a todos! Espero se encuentren muy bien...pues hoy, y en una tradición del blog que tenia algo olvidada,  quiero comentarles un poco de una diseñadora que recientemente descubrí y de la cual me he vuelto admirador. Anne Sofie Madsen, nacida en Dinamarca, es una artista relativamente nueva ya que se graduó del Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts en el 2009 y debuto en el 2010 con una colección inspirada en la alta costura en el London Fashion Week. Su talento es innegable y sus piezas desbordan de una creatividad con la cual no solo nació pero que fue nutrida gracias a sus trabajos con grandes diseñadores como John Galliano y Alexander McQueen, podemos notar referencias de ambos en los trabajos de esta diseñadora. Su trabajo se caracteriza por el uso creativo de materiales como el cuero; así mismo, son sus dibujos hechos a mano y los cuales son digitalmente impresos en sus piezas lo que se ha convertido en una característica distintiva de sus creaciones y estética  Formas distintas, cortes innovadores, gráficos surreales y diseño de calidad son algunos de los detalles que podemos encontrar en su colección primavera/verano 2013 titulada "Cherrilee".

Hi all! I hope you are doing well ... today, in a tradition that I had forgotten from the blog, I want to tell you a bit about a designer who I recently discovered and which I have become an admirer. Anne Sofie Madsen, born in Denmark, is a relatively new artist since graduating from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2009 and debuted in 2010 with a collection inspired by haute couture at London Fashion Week. Her talent is undeniable and her pieces overflow with a creativity which she was not only born with but that was fostered through the work with great designers such as John Galliano and Alexander McQueen, we can spot references from both of them in the work of this designer. Her work is characterized by the creative use of materials such as leather, likewise, her drawings are handmade and are digitally printed  into the pieces which has become a distinctive characteristic of her creations and aesthetic. Different shapes, innovative cuts, surreal graphics and quality design are some of the details to be found in her spring / summer 2013 collection entitled "Cherrilee".

 We´ve been seeing lots of animals printed on tshirts and sweaters...this kind of monster applique is quite refreshing...and awesome.

 How great is that jacket...perhaps my favourite piece from the entire collection. I also know a blogger who will rock the S&(% out of it and his name is Karl.

The work on this skirt is just ridiculous...
