My Obsessions Pt.4 - Frankie Morello

¡Frankie Morello is rudely awesome!

  Mi obsesión del miércoles no es otra que los fantásticos sweaters o jerseys, son de mis prendas favoritas aunque no suelo utilizarlas mucho ya que el clima de mi país es bastante caliente y son pocas las ocasiones que se presentan para usar estas piezas. Las recientes colecciones de otoño han traído consigo una variedad de propuestas gráficas y combinaciones de telas que nos presentan una perspectiva moderna de una prenda que tradicionalmente es sencilla y de punto; muchos de estos sweaters también han sido adaptados de versiones deportivas dotándolos de un aspecto más estructurado, mientras que otros son hechos con materiales finos que logran un efecto casi ceñido al cuerpo. Como sea que los presenten no hay duda que esta prenda ha venido tomando fuerza desde hace varias temporadas (recordemos las interesantes piezas de Balenciaga) y se han convertido en una de mis obsesiones.

  This wednesday obsession is no other than the fantastic sweaters, one of my favourite garments though I don´t usually sport them frequently due to the warm weather of my country there are really rare occasions when I can wear this piece. This recent menswear fall collection have brought quite a variety of sweaters with graphic designs and in a combo o different materials that has made this usually simple and traditional garment really modern. Some of these pieces have also been adapted from the ever mentioned sportswear style which also gives them a more structured look while other are made with special materials that grant a more streamline effect on the body. However the piece is made there´s no doubt that sweaters have been going strong since past seasons (Hello Balenciaga!) and have truly become one of my recent obsessions.
