Personal Style #48 - City Vibe

OUTFIT: Dockers shirt, Nautica jeans, Kenneth Cole boots & bag.

¡Hola mis queridos lectores! Inicio la semana con la mitad de un post en este caso mi outfit de una cita muy especial que tuve con la marca Kenneth Cole, tendrán que esperar hasta el jueves para saber todos los detalles del por que estuve en sus oficinas centrales en Panamá. Lo que si les puedo decir es que la pasé genial y pues no dejando a un lado mi vena blogger construí mi atuendo inspirado en la marca la cual es muy predominante en tonos negros y blancos con el ocasional gris aquí y allá. 

El espíritu de la misma es totalmente neoyorquino y quise hacer mi versión casual del mismo, un poco mas cómodo y practico para mi día y el clima. Mi relación con esta marca es de hecho bastante buena ya que soy un fanático de sus zapatos...casualmente las botas que llevo puestas fueron mi primera adquisición y las tengo desde el 2012, me parecen tan geniales, muy cómodas y con el tiempo han conseguido un efecto desgastado en el cuero que encuentro realmente favorecedor. 

El bolso lo compre meses después el mismo año y se ve como nuevo lo que habla muy bien de la calidad de esta marca que a mi parecer es bastante popular en mi país. Desde la primera compra me hice con dos pares más, unas zapatillas azules y un par de zapatos negros, también recibí como regalo de navidad unos bellos brogues chocolates de ante que son tan cómodos que no es normal jaja. 

Aunque lo anterior pueda sonar como una promoción directa no miento ya que ser un blogger de talla grande trae ciertas situaciones como el peso, para mi es muy importante en materia de comodidad el tener zapatos que me brinden un buen soporte y ayuden a balancear la presión en mis pies sobre todo en los momentos donde tengo que estar parado por periodos extendidos; Kenneth Cole, a mi parecer, ha logrado crear calzados que se adaptan a estas necesidad y que como extra son sumamente estilosos...lo que no es bueno para mi bolsillo ya que me da la urgencia de comprarlos todos...pero cuando el tiempo es correcto mis lectores no hay ningún remordimiento.

Hello my dear readers! I´m starting off the week with half of a post beginning with the outfit I wore for a very special date with Kenneth Cole, sorry you´ll have to wait until thursday to know the details of my visit to their headquarters here in Panama. What I can tell you is that it was so much fun and of course tapping my blogger vein I decided to build my outfit inspired by the brand which is very big on neutrals like black and white with hints of grey here and there (and sometimes other colors pop like J.Law in other people´s pictures). 

This brand´s spirit is such a new yorker that I wanted in and try to do a casual version of it, always having in mind comfort and practicality for my day and the climate. My relationship with this brand is quite good as a costumer mostly because I am a big fan of their shoes (or shoes in general you know me)...the boots i´m wearing were my first adquisition back in 2012 and I just find them awesome, comfortable and with time the leather has manifested these "wear scars" that are quite endearing to me.

The bag I bought couple of months after and it looks brand new, a thing that truly speaks for the quality of the brand which is quite popular in my country. Since that first purchase I´ve bought two more shoes (a blue casual sneaker and black leather oxfords) and one christmas I was given these beautiful brown suede brogues that are so comfortable is not even normal.

While everything I say might sound like paid publicity I can tell you it aint...I also can´t lie by stating that being a plus size blogger comes with some situations like weight, for me is very important when it comes to comfort to own shoes that boast good support and can balance out the pressure in my feet specially when I need to be standing for extended periods of time. Kenneth Cole, in my eyes, has managed this by creating footwear that totally adapts to those needs and which have the added perk that Oh! they look so good...something that does not agree with my wallet since I want to buy them all....though when the time is right my dear readers I solemnly swear there are no regrets.
