Label of Style: Ethnic Magic

¡Feliz inicio de semana! Mientras sigo preparando mis reseñas de las pasarelas del MBFWP15 les traigo una nueva entrada de Label of Style, para aquellos nuevos a mi blog estos post funcionan como un "street style" solo que estas personas no necesariamente me las encuentro en la calle sino en eventos y elijo fotografiarlos pues me gusta su estilo y aparte admiro mucho lo que hacen en sus trabajos.

Les presento a Yuka una chica que tuve la oportunidad de conocer hace dos años y quien creo tiene un bello talento como diseñadora. Su procedencia japonesa influye en sus diseños los cuales también llevan un espíritu étnico que hace guiños al ADN latinoamericano. Estas mezclas han causado que sus prendas tengan un look muy particular que ya se ha convertido en su sello; ademas es una empresaria pues junto a otros cuatro diseñadores jóvenes abrió la boutique Dress Menu que se especializa en vender ropa de diseñadores emergentes nacionales y locales. 

Con una visión para crecer profesionalmente y un talento reconocible la carrera de esta chica sin duda será una a tener muy en cuenta.

Happy start of the week! As I keep preparing my reviews from the MBFWP15 runways I´m here with a new Label of Style post, for those of you who are new to my site (btw welcome!) this entries work as my "street style" section but most of the people in them are not necessarily street encountres some I bump with at events or such, I choose to photograph them first of all because I love their style and second because I really admire their work (which mostly is in or around the fashion scene).

Now I have the pleasure to introduce you to Yuka which I had the chance of meeting two years ago around fashion week time and I think she has a great talent and potential as a designer. Her japanese heritage is a strong influence in her designs which also carry an ethnic spirit that touches on elements from latinamerican culture. This mix has given her garments a very distintive look and feel which has now become a signature of her brand. Besides she is also an entrepreneur having teamed up with four other young designers to open Dress Menu a boutique that specializes in selling national and local emerging designers clothes and accesories.

With an ambitious vision to grow professionally and a talent that´s highly recognizable this girl´s career is one to keep on tabs.
