Oscar´s Red Carpet Wishlist.

Hola a todos. Saben una de mis cosas favoritas desde siempre son las alfombras rojas y no hay ninguna como la de los Premios de la Academia, es la que marca el fin del "red carpet season". Ahora quizás algunos me dirán...Pero Andy hay alfombras rojas a lo largo del año...y tienen mucha razón pero los Oscars generalmente marcan el final de las premiaciones grandes o las que se podrían considerar las más importantes como los Primetime Emmys, los Globos de Oro, el Premio del Sindicato de Actores, los BAFTA´s...y por no dejar aunque no sea de actuación los premios Grammy.

De todas las alfombras rojas esta es sin duda la más especial pues aunque no es donde todo se vale es donde se vale crear grandes momentos y donde generalmente brillan las piezas de Alta Costura (entre las de otras marcas que se dedican a los trajes de noche e incluso algunas sorpresas de marcas que los crean especialmente para el cliente y terminan siendo el atuendo para recordar).

Es por eso que en celebración de la próxima entrega de los Oscars este domingo he decidido realizar una entrada con las piezas de Alta Costura y Semi-Alta Costura que me encantaría ver en esa alfombra roja, dichas prendas corresponden a la reciente temporada primavera 2016. Acepto que algunas marcas es algo improbable que lleguen a aparecer pero ¡Hey! Se vale soñar.

Hello everyone. You know one of my favorite things since I was little were the red carpets and there is non quite like the Academy Awards, it finalizes the red carpet season. Now maybe some of you might tell me...But Andy there are a lot of red carpet throughout the year...and your are right but the Oscars usually mark the ending of the big awards season or the those who we´ve always been told are the higher ranking ones like the Primetime Emmys, the Golden Globes, the Screen Actors Guild, the BAFTA´s and because it is also thrown in the mix while not being for acting, the Grammy´s.

Of all the red carpets this one is the most special because even if is not an "everything goes" type of affair, it is a "create a moment" night were generally Haute Couture pieces find their runway out of their brands venue (it also is for other brands that specialize in evening wear and even those who might do it just for a select client and end up being the surprise look of the event).

This is why in celebration of the upcoming Oscars this sunday I´ve decided to make an entry with all the Haute Couture and Demi Couture dresses I´d love to see in the red carpet, all of these garments are from the Spring Couture 2016 season. Now I accept that some of these brands are unlikely to make an appearance but a boy can dream.
