¡Hola! Como algunos de ustedes sabrán una de las intenciones de mi blog siempre fue mostrar el talento de mi país junto con el de las grandes capitales de moda pero a veces estar tan pendiente de lo que sucede aquí o en Nueva York, Londres, Milán y París hace que pase por alto el hecho de que hay más semanas de la moda a nivel mundial con excelentes propuestas que también merecen ser compartidas.
Es por eso que este post esta dedicado a algunas de mis colecciones favoritas de semanas de la moda tanto de Latinoamérica, Europa, Asia Oriental, Australia y el Oriente Próximo. Quizás mucha de estas colecciones no estén a nuestro alcance por diversos motivos pero la moda es global y hay un excelente trabajo que muchas veces no recibe la atención que merece y no por que sea malo, simplemente es falta de publicidad.
Como siempre he dicho mi blog es una ventana para mostrar talento y si al menos puedo llegarle a una persona cumplí mi cometido. Las colecciones que verán a continuación corresponden a la temporada primavera-verano 2016 de cada sitio. Hello! (It´s me...Ok, no). As some of you might know one of the intentions when opening this blog was to show the talent that resided in my country as well as those that came from the big four fashion capitals but sometimes being so fixated with what happens here or in NY, London, Milan and Paris cause me to completely walk by the fact that there are other fashion weeks around the world that are also making great clothes that deserve to be spotlighted.
This is why I dedicated this post to some of my favorite collections from various fashion weeks in places like Latinamerica, Europe, Oriental Asia, Australia and the Middle East. Some of these works might be a little out of reach for various reasons but fashion is a global affair and there is some outstanding craftmanship that doesn´t recieve the attention it should and not because is bad, is just a matter of not having big publicity.
As I have stated since the day this blog opened I wanted it to be a window to show talent and if I can at least present it to one person I would´ve done my job. The following collections are from the spring/summer 2016 season from each of these places.
