Fashion Journey - Panamanian Design Abroad.

¡Hola mis queridos lectores! Después de tomarme una semanita libre para descansar de todas los posts del FWP estoy de regreso...con más moda. En esta ocasión y aprovechando que ya estamos a poco de finalizar el año quise resaltar la representación del diseño panameño en el extranjero, que a mi parecer este 2019 ha sido uno de los mejores años para nuestra moda.

Siempre he creído que es muy importante que el diseño panameño tenga la oportunidad de salir en cualquier medida a otros países no solo como una forma de representación del talento que aquí reside sino también para establezca su lugar e identidad dentro de la moda latinoamericana y global, y en el caso particular de los diseñadores para que encuentren dialogo y reflexión personal entre que hacen y que pueden tomar de industrias dedicadas a la moda más avanzadas para ellos mismos evolucionar.

A continuación les muestro algunos de mis momentos favoritos de representación panameña, en moda y afines, para el mundo.

Hello my dear readers! After taking a free week to rest from all the FWP posts, I'm back ... with more fashion. On this occasion and taking advantage of the fact that we are short of a few weeks to the end of the year I wanted to highlight the representation of Panamanian design abroad, which in my opinion this 2019 has been one of the best years for our fashion.

I have always believed that it is very important that Panamanian design has the opportunity to go to other countries to any extent not only as a form of representation of the talent that resides here but also to establish its place and identity within Latin American and global fashion, and in the particular case of designers to find dialogue and personal reflection between what they do and what they can take from more advanced fashion industries to evolve themselves.

Below I show you some of my favorite moments of Panamanian representation, in fashion and related, for the world.

Fashion Globetrotters

Las colecciones de los diseñadores panameños viajan a destinos como Latinoamérica, Estados Unidos y Tailandia.

Panamanian designers collections take on a journey that spans through Latinamerica, United States and Thailand.

The Panamanian Strut

Nuestras modelos panameñas realizan su camino por las grandes semanas de la moda.

Our panamanian models sashay their way through a couple of the big four fashion weeks.

Blogueras, personalidades e influencers tuvieron la oportunidad de asistir a semanas de la moda eligiendo incluir en su guardarropa diseño netamente local. Para esta lista seleccioné los looks de las asistentes al Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week San José siendo este la mayor concentración de diseño panameño fuera de nuestro país hasta la fecha.

Bloggers, personalities and influencers had the opportunity to attend fashion weeks and chose to include in their wardrobe purely local design. For this list I selected the looks from the attendees of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week San José being this the largest concentration of Panamanian design outside our country to date.
