Up Close & Personal...Greta Bayo´s 2011 Spring/Summer Collection

Today I was invited by panamanian designer Greta Bayo to her boutique Garbo by Greta to see her 2011 summer collection. Its a collection of pure color and captures the spring/summer vibe perfectly with beautiful floral printed pieces as algo some great solid pieces which are fantastic to make some extraordinary color blocking; trends were also on the spot with very bright colors and sheer dresses and beautifully made flowy gowns. Mrs. Bayo suggests a light and fresh look in fabrics such as linen, satined silk and chiffon that´s made to please every taste ranging from two pieces to cocktail dresses and evening gowns crafted with beautiful techniques such as pleading and ruffles. All this beautiful dresses can be found in her boutique which has a very chic environment and it makes you feel like family, attention is all sorts of amazing its more than shopping, it´s an experience! This collection is wearable and perfect for our climate and its worth the seeing, the trying and the buying; for the fun, carefree and sexy girl, Mrs. Bayo is your choice!

Jewelry was present to...I mean it can never be missing!

This necklaces may be for girls..but I so want to buy one (mostly the first one and the last one that looks like a grammy)
This next pictures are random I took from the store, people and things I liked...Enjoy!
The all fabulous designer Mrs. Greta Bayo..wearing one of her creations...of course!

Of course..they couldn´t be missing from this post my two dear fellow blogger Erika from Living La Vida Fashion!..Looking gorgeous..as always!
And Michael from Modeikone...I loved his shirt..he loved mine...we do have amazing taste! hahaha

Since Erika can wear anything she wants..she is like our barbie doll...so of course she had to try on (meaning we make her try on haha) some of Greta´s dresses (maybe she´ll wear one of this babies to Fashion Week Panama) which one do you like best?

What was I wearing?

Shirt - Hathaway
Jeans - Jordache
Belt - No Label
Shoes - Bostonian
*Bag - Butterfly Villa
The special mention goes to the Bag...I bought it from a talented designer called Geniesse Pierre who runs her brand Butterfly Villa...this bag is actually from her first line of men bags called Spinto with very a simple and minimalistic approach, strong and incredibly roomy with an amazing quality! And the price was fabulous!..how could I resist!? Its also my very first national designer item and I am very proud to say it and I hope there´ll be even more (I am actually planning on wearing a national designer item for each day of Fashion Week Panama..so wish me luck...If any designer is reading this post please take this in consideration).
Finally I want to thank Mrs. Greta Bayo for inviting me to this chic event, I had a great time and you have my total support for anything you´ll do in the future. xx Andy
