The Friday Spot: Creed´s Royal Affair

Scents with pedigree...yeah that´s right!

A few days ago I had the opportunity to attend the presentation of the legendary perfume house Creed . This house founded by James Creed in 1760, who later was apprenticed to his son Henry Creed, was engaged to supplying the English court with tailored suits, scented gloves and commissioned fragances being his most notable first client King George III and his court for whom was created the fragrance Royal English Leather.Years later in 1800 Henry Creed II, considered the most innovative in the family, helped to expand the fragrance business moving it from England to Paris and in 1845 at the request of Queen Victoria the fragance Fleurs du Bulgarie was created.James Henry Creed was born in 1940, fifth generation, who contributed in bringing the brand closer to celebrities and politicians making so that in 1920 at the request of Winston Churchill the fragance Tabarome Millesime was created. In 1948 Vetiver is created which was a favorite of the late former President of the United States of America, John F. Kennedy .In 1943 current master perfumer of the house Olivier Creed was born, under his command were created fragrances for Audrey Hepburn ( Spring Flowers), the Princess of Monaco Grace Kelly ( Fleurissimo, commissioned by her husband, Prince Rainier III of Monaco) and likewise Creed perfumes in 1970 were made available to the public.Entering the year 2000 the house Creed expands its line of products to include soaps, bath gels, body lotions and deodorants.Les Royales Exclusives fragrances (created in 2010) were the stars of the night, these perfumes come in hand-blown Pochet glass and are made from high quality materials found around the world .Creed found its home at La Riviera one of the most prestigious boutiques in terms of cosmetics, perfumes and personal care products in Panama marking its site as one of the most iconic perfume houses fit for kings and queens.

Finally I just got to say I am deeply, madly, terribly in love with Aventus what a fantastic fragance for men! For the ladies I can recommend Spring Flowers or Sublime Vanille from the Les Royales Exclusives line.

Hugs, Andy.
