Meeting the Knot at Bottega Veneta.

¡Hola a todos! La semana inicia y con ella un nuevo post, en esta ocasión de evento...o bueno cuasi-evento. Hace algunos días se llevó a cabo la apertura de la tienda Bottega Veneta, marca italiana reconocida por su impecable artesanía y el icónico patrón intrecciato que ha hecho reconocible muchas de sus piezas a nivel global. Lastimosamente no me fue posible asistir a la fiesta de apertura pero llegó a mi conocimiento que tendrían una exhibición abierta al publico de sus "Knot", clutches compuestos por diferentes aplicaciones ya sea en distintos tipos de cuero y metales que llevan como común denominador un hermoso cierre en forma de nudo que le da su nombre.

Así que aproveché la oportunidad para ver la exhibición y de paso conocer la tienda, la cual es muy acogedora. El dependiente muy amable me llevó en un pequeño recorrido por los distintos bolsos explicándome los materiales así como algunos datos curiosos y fui muy afortunado ya que me dejaron hacer fotos de algunas piezas como de la tienda. Aunque estoy seguro que la fiesta fue muy divertida creo que hay un valor muy especial en poder hacer el recorrido con mas paz y ver los detalles con detenimiento ya que sin duda contribuye muchísimo a entender, palpar y absorber la maestría de esta fantástica marca. A todos mis compatriotas panameños, y aquellos que planean venir de visita, les exhorto a que visiten esta bella tienda ubicada en Soho Mall.

Hello everyone! The week starts and with it i´m coming at you with a new entry, in this occasion with an event...or well semi-event. A few days ago was held the opening for the Bottega Veneta store, an italian luxury brand renowned for its impeccable craftmanship and the iconic intrecciato woven leather pattern that´s made all their goods recognizable worldwide. Sadly I wasn´t able to attend the opening party but I caught on that the companion exhibition about their "Knots", a beautiful clutch that´s composed from different types of leather and/or metals which all close with this gorgeous knot which gives it its name was going to be open for public for a few more days.

So of course I took the chance to see it and the new store, which is really cozy. The guy that attended me was incredible welcoming and took his time explaining the materials from which different clutches were made as well as some interesting facts, I also can´t stretch how fortunate I was that they let me take pictures from the exhibition and the store. The party sure must´ve been fun but there´s an undeniable value that comes with being able to see the art on display with a lot more peace of mind and the chance to see details up-close and personal which helps greatly in understanding, feeling and absorbing the master craftmanship of this amazing brand. To all my fellow PTY citizens, and those of you who plan to visit, I strongly recommend you to visit the Bottega Veneta store at Soho Mall.
