Personal Style #45 - A Case on Layers.

¡Hola a chic@s! Hoy les traigo una nueva entrada de estilo personal. Ya esta comenzando lo que se conoce como el invierno panameño (temporada de lluvias) y la temperatura comienza a refrescar, al menos lo suficiente para hacer algo de layering. Usar tres piezas hace un mes y medio hubiera sido un pensamiento de esos que se desechan rápido, por suerte el ambiente ha estado a mi favor en alguna medida...confieso que no me emociona usar zapatos claros o con lo que sea blanco durante las épocas de lluvia. 

Este atuendo lo utilicé para acompañar a mi Madre a buscar un vestido para la boda de mi prima la cual es en dos semanas, visitamos siete tiendas y creo que solo vimos un vestido que nos pareció el indicado (aunque no ha sido escogido como el definitivo) y si, en esta faena estoy laborando como su stylist. Por suerte llevé zapatillas pues nos tocó caminar a cuatro de la tiendas (Panamá no es realmente una ciudad planificada para caminar...a menos que consideres las aceras como una versión de Mario Kart y eso te divierta) y aunque no suelo ser de moverme a pie por la ciudad no me puedo quejar pues hoy ha soplado una brisa maravillosa, hasta fría, que ha hecho la caminata muy amena.

Y a ustedes ¿Les gusta caminar por su ciudad? ¿Tienen alguna boda en el futuro cercano? ¿Que tipos de atuendos prefieren tradicionales o con algo de originalidad? ¿Y mi look? Pues eso es una sorpresa ehh!

Hello my dear readers! Today I am back with a new personal style post. The so called panamanian winter is making its way (also known as the rainy season) and with it brings a little cooler demeanor to the season which allows you to do some nice layering without bringing yourself to a boil. Using three pieces would´ve been a thought that one and a half months back will go as soon as it came, luckily the ambience has been good to me in some measure...a lot of rain does not mix well with white anything shoes...but besides that is ok.

This outfit was worn to an eventful day as I accompanied my Mother in the fun task of finding a dress for my cousin´s wedding which is in two weeks, we went to seven stores and I think there´s only one real winner (though it still does not sport the "chosen one" tag but its there) and yes in this dress hunting I am serving as a personals stylist. Also to my luck I was carrying sneakers because we had to walk to four of the seven stores (Panama is not a city that was planned to walk...unless you view the sidewalks as some sort of real life foot Mario Kart and you dig that) and thought I don´t usually movilize in the city via walking the day was so cooperative it was awesome. The breeze was so strong, I dare to say cold, which made the walk kinda cool (I do love cold environments).

And what about you people? Do you like walking in your city? Is there a wedding you´ll be attending in the near future? What type of wedding attires do you prefer, traditional or a little bit more unique? And my outfit you say? Well that is a surprise folks...wait and see!

*And yes I have no idea what kind of face I am making there...you know me and expressions...is a wierd relationship.
