¡Hola a todos! Aunque por motivos personales la semana pasada no se me hizo posible realizar una entrada pues hoy si vengo con moda para ustedes y en esta ocasión llega cargada de mucho sabor latinoamericano cortesía de los diferentes "fashion weeks" y eventos de moda latinos que se dieron mayormente en el mes de abril.
Países como México, Puerto Rico, Bolivia, Argentina, Colombia, Perú y Brasil mostraron lo mejor del diseño latinoamericano a través de plataformas que vieron cobrar vida la inspiración e interpretación de diversos creativos que buscan con sus diseños cimentar la identidad y poderío que tiene la moda de nuestra región.
Hacer este tipo de entrada sin duda es un placer pues me hace abrir los ojos a la enorme cantidad de talento que existe y me permite descubrir marcas que se convierten en parte de mi universo de favoritas. Obviamente son tantas que no puedo ponerlas todas en una sola entrada pues sería eterna así que decidí incluir mi marca favorita de cada una de las plataformas...y claro alguna que otra recomendación extra para que conozcan un poco más.
Hello everyone! Although for personal reasons last week I was not able to make an entry today I come with fashion for you and this time it comes loaded with a lot of Latin American flavor courtesy of the different "fashion weeks" and Latin fashion events that occurred mostly on April.
Countries such as Mexico, Puerto Rico, Bolivia, Argentina, Colombia, Peru and Brazil showed the best of Latin American design through platforms that saw the inspiration and interpretation of diverse creatives that seek with their designs to cement the identity and power of the fashion from our region.
Making this type of entry without a doubt is a pleasure because it makes me open my eyes to the enormous amount of talent that exists and allows me to discover brands that become part of my universe of favorites. Obviously there are so many that I can not put them all in one entry because it would be eternal so I decided to include my favorite brands from each of the platforms ... and of course some extra recommendation so you know a little more.
Buenos Aires Fashion Week
A mi parecer la perfecta representación de lo que uno espera de la moda latina hoy en día con hermosos colores, estampados florales y telas frescas que poseen una cualidad exuberante y al mismo tiempo funcional.
In my opinion, the perfect representation of what one expects from Latin fashion today with beautiful colors, floral prints and fresh fabrics that have an exuberant and at the same time functional quality.

Bogota Fashion Week
Colombia es sin duda un país que está experimentando un auge en su industria de moda a nivel internacional y eso queda muy claro al ver las colecciones del BFW las cuales son increíblemente contemporáneas sin perder la esencia latina que nos caracteriza como región.
Colombia is undoubtedly a country that is experiencing a boom in its fashion industry on an international level and that is very clear to see in the collections from BFW which are incredibly contemporary without losing the Latin essence that characterizes us as a region.

Diseño y Autores Bolivianos
Confieso que es la primera vez que presto atención a la moda boliviana...¡Y no se por que esperé tanto! Hay muchísimo potencial en sus creadores y la propuesta joven y cool de Luis Daniel Agreda fue una de mis favoritas de esta plataforma que no es particularmente grande (solo presentaron siete diseñadores) pero estoy más que seguro que no demorará en agarrar muchísima fuerza...ya captó la atención de Vogue y eso es un super comienzo.
I confess that it is the first time I pay attention to Bolivian fashion ... And I do not know why I waited so long! There is a lot of potential in its creators and the young and cool proposal by Luis Daniel Agreda was one of my favorites from this platform that is not particularly big (only seven designers submitted) but I am more than sure that it will not take long to get a lot of hype ... It already caught Vogue's attention and that's a great start.

Lima Fashion Week
¡Una de las colecciones más divertidas! No se si solo sea yo pero cada vez que un diseñador se inspira en el Disco suelen salir colecciones muy bellas. Por mi que lo sigan haciendo pues es uno de mis géneros musicales favoritos así que no tengo ninguna queja.
One of the most enjoyable collections! I do not know if it's just me, but every time a designer takes inspiration from Disco, very beautiful collections often come out. For me they should continue as is one of my favorite musical genres so I have no complaints.

Fashion Week México
Mi favorita de todas las colecciones creo que la diseñadora Vero Díaz presentó una propuesta hermosa, funcional, interesante, colorida, moderna, artística y que hace uso de la excelente capacidad artesanal mexicana de un modo completamente actual. Un talento a tener muy en cuenta.
My favorite of all the collections, I believe that the designer Vero Díaz presented a beautiful, functional, interesting, colorful, current, artistic proposal that makes use of the excellent Mexican craftsmanship in a completely modern way. A talent to take into account.

San Juan Moda
Algo que caracteriza mucho a la moda latinoamericana...al menos en su aspecto más clásico es el uso de vuelos, telas suntuosas, bordados y pedrería...dirigida hacia la moda de eventos ésta estética predomina a lo largo de América latina y algo que muchos, incluyendo a mi persona, consideran anticuado por lo que me encantó ver como el diseñador Edd Aponte utilizó estas características para crear una colección que se siente moderna y juvenil mostrando que realmente todo depende de tener un buen diseño y visión.
Something that characterizes Latin American fashion ... at least in its most classic aspect is the use of ruffles, sumptuous fabrics, embroidery and rhinestones ... directed towards the evening wear niche this aesthetic predominates throughout Latin America and something that many, including my person, consider antiquated so I loved seeing how designer Edd Aponte used these features to create a collection that feels modern and youthful showing that everything really depends on having a good design and vision.

São Paulo Fashion Week
La moda playera también tiene un espacio aquí aunque no como usualmente se imagina y aunque esta marca presentó hermosos vestidos de baño no pude dejar pasar estos espectaculares trajes y conjuntos estampados que para mi son una representación gráfica excepcional de la vibra y alegría brasileña actual.
Beach fashion also has a space here although not as one would imagine and although this brand presented beautiful bathing suits I could not miss these spectacular dressess and printed outfits that for me are an exceptional graphic representation of the current Brazilian vibe and joy.
