¡Hola a tod@s! Hoy tenemos una nueva entrada con las más recientes noticias en el medio de la moda panameña, varias marcas han estado bastante activas este mes anunciando colecciones nuevas y presentaciones en el extranjero.
Este grupo de meses que han pasado sin duda brindaron mucha moda local y aún faltan dos eventos que convocan a muchas marcas, por un lado está Altamoda, en agosto, que va para su tercera edición y se ha convertido en una excelente plataforma para que diseñadores y en especial marca jóvenes presenten sus colecciones a un público variado; por supuesto no puede faltar el Fashion Week Panamá el cual se ha convertido en la gran fiesta de moda del año con diseñadores nacionales, locales e invitados mostrando sus nuevas propuestas a un público que año tras año ha sido testigo de la evolución de la escena de moda local.

Los diseñadores Verónica Ángel y Tony Vergara estarán representando a Panamá en Islandia con sus recientes propuestas en el evento Young Fashion Designers Showcase. Esta es la primera vez que la diseñadora presenta una colección en el extranjero y sería la segunda para el diseñador Vergara quien previamente presentó sus diseños en el International Fashion Showcase organizado por el British Fashion Council durante el London Fashion Week. ¡Enhorabuena a ambos!
The designers Verónica Ángel and Tony Vergara will be representing Panama in Iceland with their recent proposals at the Young Fashion Designers Showcase event. This is the first time that Verónica presents a collection abroad and it would be the second for Vergara who previously presented his designs at the International Fashion Showcase organized by the British Fashion Council during London Fashion Week. Congratulations to both!

El diseñador colombiano radicado en Panamá estará participando en la edición número trece de Expomoda Colombia Ciudad de Palmira evento que lo ve regresar nuevamente a su ciudad natal después de previamente presentar en el 2017 donde fue galardonado como Diseñador palmirano destacado en el extranjero. Esta ocasión marca un momento muy especial para el diseñador pues el sitio elegido para el evento esta justo a lado del centro donde presentó su primera colección como diseñador de moda hace ya catorce años. En esta edición del evento presenta de forma completa su colección Resort 2018 de la cual se pudo ver un adelanto en el evento Selecta Moda. (En la foto un look de su más reciente colección el cual fue presentado junto a creaciones de otros colegas en el lanzamiento de Expomoda 2018).
The Colombian designer based in Panama will be participating in the thirteenth edition of Expomoda Colombia Ciudad de Palmira, an event that sees him return to his hometown after previously presenting in 2017 where he was awarded as an Outstanding Palmiran Designer Abroad . This occasion marks a very special moment for the designer because the site chosen for the event is right beside the center where he presented his first collection as a fashion designer fourteen years ago. In this edition of the event, he will present his complete Resort 2018 collection, which was previously seen in preview mode at the Selecta Moda event. Después de una exitosa presentación en el African Fashion Festival la diseñadora Geniesse Pierre de la marca Butterfly Villa organizó un trunk show para mostrar las creaciones de su colección titulada "Nina" SS18 la cual se compone de una variedad de bolsos estilo bucket y su icónico Laii en animal print, colores sólidos, metálicos y estampados. La colección de la marca se encuentra disponible exclusivamente en la boutique Garbo by Greta.
After a successful presentation at the African Fashion Festival, designer Geniesse Pierre from handbag brand Butterfly Villa organized a trunk show to showcase the creations of her collection titled "Nina" SS18 which is made up of a variety of bucket style bags and her iconic Laii in animal print, solid colors, metallics and prints. The brand's collection is available exclusively at the Garbo by Greta boutique.

La diseñadora Celi Pizan debuta su colección Cruise 2018 con la hermosa modelo y presentadora Anyolí Abrego en fotos realizadas en el Hotel Hilton. Esta diseñadora se destaca por creaciones muy femeninas y funcionales donde predomina el color y los motivos florales, también ha sido una de las creadoras más inclusivas en materia de tallas grandes convirtiéndose en la primera opción de muchas mujeres para eventos, red carpets o simplemente adquirir ropa que resalte su belleza.
The designer Celi Pizan debuts her Cruise 2018 collection with the beautiful model and presenter Anyolí Abrego in photos taken at the Hilton Hotel. This designer stands out for her very feminine and functional creations where color and floral motifs predominate, she has also been one of the most inclusive creators in terms of plus sizes becoming the first choice of many women for events, red carpets or simply acquire clothes that highlight their beauty.

La diseñadora Edda González presentó su colección Privé la cual se compone de hermosos trajes de gala para bodas, específicamente para madre de la novia, dicha presentación se realizó en las instalaciones de Gaudí Novias donde actualmente se puede encontrar esta exclusiva línea de trajes. Edda se convierte en la primera diseñadora panameña en tener una colección exclusiva con esta distinguida boutique. ¡Felicidades!
Designer Edda González presented her Privé collection, which is made up of beautiful evening gowns for weddings, specifically for the bride´s mother. The presentation was made at the Gaudí Novias' boutique where you can actually find this exclusive line of dresses. Edda also becomes the first panamanian designer to host a collection for the renowned boutique. Congratulations!
