¡Hola a tod@s! Hoy finalizamos el reportaje de tendencias de las cuatro grandes capitales de la moda con las colecciones parisinas. Todas las tendencias en esta lista estuvieron presentes en las demás semanas de la moda haciéndolas oficialmente macro-tendencias y en conjunto con ellas otras que no aparecen aquí, pero si en mis otras listas, y que definitivamente vienen con fuerza son las gabardinas re-conceptualizadas, los brillos, el tropicalismo, las inspiraciones asiáticas, los 'slip-dresses', mangas globo y prendas de estilo utilitario.
Espero mis listas hayan sido de utilidad para ayudar a inspirar sus atuendos, recordando siempre que las tendencias son opcionales y siempre deben sentirse correctas con el estilo personal de cada uno.
Como una reflexión final de este mes de la moda creo que las colecciones han estado marcadas por una cierta dualidad con algunos diseñadores presentando propuestas interesantes, usables y creativas, mientras que muchas de las marcas más esperadas se limitaron a complacer a su clientela mostrando piezas bonitas y versátiles pero sin mucha propuesta.
De igual manera otros puntos clave de estas colecciones han sido la inclusión (Christian Siriano, Mugler y Elie Saab) , la sostenibilidad (Stella McCartney, Collina Strada y Gucci) y el activismo social (Pyer Moss, Prabal Gurung y Manish Arora) mostrando que las marcas están dispuestas a tomar iniciativa y realizar los pasos necesarios para apoyar, reivindicar o alertar sobre diversas causas importantes. Hello everyone! Today I´m finishing the trend report concearning the four great capitals of fashion with the Parisian collections. All the trends in this list were present in the other fashion weeks making them officially macro-trends and together with them others that do not appear here, but do in my other lists, and that definitely come in with force are the re-conceptualized trenches, glitter garments, tropicalism, Asian inspirations, slip-dresses, puffed sleeves and utility-style garments.
I hope my lists have been useful to help inspire your outfits, always remembering that trends are optional and should always feel correct with each other's personal style.
As a final reflection of this month of fashion I think that the collections have been marked by a certain duality with some designers presenting interesting, usable and creative proposals, while many of the most anticipated brands were limited to pleasing their clientele by showing beautiful and versatile pieces but without a needed uniqueness.
Similarly other key points of these collections have been inclusion (Christian Siriano, Mugler and Elie Saab), sustainability (Stella McCartney, Collina Strada and Gucci) and social activism (Pyer Moss, Prabal Gurung and Manish Arora) showing that brands are willing to take initiative along with the necessary steps to support, claim and/or alert on various important causes. Seventies Show
Si la temporada pasada fue sobre los ochentas entonces no hay duda que los setentas se tomaron las colecciones de verano con muchas marcas haciendo oda a esta estilosa década con pantalones basta ancha, maxi vestidos y piezas en crochet.
If last season was about the eighties then there is no doubt that the seventies took summer collections with many brands making ode to this stylish decade with wide pants, maxi dresses and crochet pieces.

Power Shoulder
Las siluetas ochenteras aún no nos abandonan y los hombros con poder han sido una de las tendencias más notorias para la próxima temporada. Si bien en las colecciones se presentaron en proporciones algo exageradas es una silueta que fácilmente se puede lograr de forma regular con solo añadir hombreras a ciertos atuendos.
The eighties silhouettes are still clinging to us and shoulders with power have been one of the most notorious trends for the next season. While in the collections they were presented in somewhat exaggerated proportions, it is a silhouette that can easily be achieved on a regular basis by simply adding shoulder pads to certain outfits.

Blooming Staples
No son nada innovador pero sin duda forman parte esencial de las colecciones primaverales y es que los estampados florales básicamente son el sinónimo físico de la temporada a nivel de indumentaria.
They are nothing groundbreaking but without a doubt they are an essential part of the spring collections and of course i´m referring to floral prints which are basically the physical synonym of the season at a clothing level.

Seasonal Surprise
La verdadera sorpresa de este mes ha sido la cantidad increíble de cuero en las colecciones, una tela usualmente asociada con la temporada invernal. A mi concepto si bien puede ser usada durante el verano según la pieza y como se estilice, creo que la inclusión de este material en las propuestas está más ligado al deseo de muchos diseñadores de crear líneas que no estén rigurosamente sujetas a una temporada dado que las mismas alrededor del mundo varían lo cual encuentro muy sensato para marcas de alcance internacional.
The real surprise of this month has been the incredible amount of leather in the collections, a fabric usually associated with the winter season. In my opinion, although it can be used during the summer depending on the piece and how it is stylized, I believe that the inclusion of this material in the proposals is more linked to the desire of many designers to create lines that are not strictly subject to a given season since they vary a lot around the world which I find a very logical move for international brands.

Jungle Fever
Y si pensaban que esta tendencia se quedaría en la temporada previa pues no, los estampados animales regresan con mucha más fuerza en todas las variantes posibles.
And if you thought that this trend would stay in the previous season well think twice, animal prints return with much more force in all possible variants.
