¡Hola a tod@s! El día de ayer se llevó a cabo el evento Selecta Moda organizado por la reconocida Revista Selecta, en el cual decidieron reunir a varios diseñadores locales y tiendas en una noche donde todos mostraron sus mejores propuestas veraniegas a un público que no solo admiró sus diseños sino que a su vez estaba alucinado con la hermosa decoración de Casa Veranda, en el Hotel Sheraton, que sirvió como base para la primera edición de este evento.
Para este post decidí enfocarme en las marcas de diseñador local omitiendo algunas que presentaron colecciones pasadas de las cuales ya escribí en el blog (estaré subiendo a modo de galería las fotos que tome de esas marcas a mi cuenta de instagram). La decoración en Casa Veranda sin duda realzó mucho las propuestas de todas las personas creativas que participaron en el evento creando una atmósfera ideal para una serie de pasarelas con moda panameña.
Este tipo de eventos me emocionan mucho pues siempre he creído que aunque escenarios como el FWP son muy importantes a lo largo del año es igual de importante que existan plataformas donde los diseñadores puedan mostrar sus colecciones a una audiencia variada y que sean oportunidades provechosas tanto para establecidos como jóvenes talentos.
Con respecto a las imágenes me disculpo pues lamentablemente mi cámara no esta en las mejores condiciones así que resolví hacer las fotos con mi celular y he elegido mis cuatro looks favoritos de cada colección. ¡Espero les gusten!
Hello everyone! Yesterday, the fashion event called Selecta Moda which was organized by the renowned Selecta Magazine took place, they decided to bring together several local designers and stores in a night where they all showed their best summer proposals to an audience that not only admired their designs but was alsoin awe with the beautiful decoration of Casa Veranda, at the Sheraton Hotel, which served as the base for the first edition of this event.
For this post I decided to focus on the local designer brands by omitting some that presented past collections of which I already wrote on the blog (I will be uploading as a gallery the photos I took of those brands to my instagram account). The decoration in Casa Veranda undoubtedly enhanced the proposals of all the creative people who participated in the event creating an ideal atmosphere for a series of runways filled with Panamanian fashion.
This type of events really excites me because I have always believed that although scenarios such as FWP are very important throughout the year it is equally important that there are platforms where designers can show their collections to a varied audience and that they are profitable opportunities for both established as young talents.
Concerning the quality of the images I apologize because unfortunately my camera is not in the best condition so I resolved to take the pictures with my cellphone and I have chosen my four favorite looks from each collection. I hope you like them!
Selecta Moda se une a una línea de excelentes escenas como lo son Panamá Diseña, Macrofest y Altamoda brindando otro techo donde el diseño local puede brillar; han iniciado con buen pie y me encantaría ver que harán a futuro, de igual manera espero que sigan naciendo otros eventos que apoyen el excelente talento nacional. Además creo que ya es hora que exista una plataforma destinada exclusivamente a los nuevos creadores...¡Eso sería genial!
Selecta Moda joins a line of excellent scenes such as Panama Diseña, Macrofest and Altamoda providing another roof where the local design can shine; They have started well and I would love to see what they will do in the future, in the same way I hope that other events that support the excellent national talent will continue to be born.
